Sicky sick sick

It is so different being sick with sick kids. They want you because you are their mother but all you want is your own mother. Still you stay strong, are patient and help them through this time. I am always have a spring in my step after the sickness has passed. It's almost like God gives us a little taste of unhappiness, which in turn makes us realize how good we have it, though I know He's not plaguing me with illness.

My Birthday Lunch

In a sweet little tea house in sumner, I had one of the nicest lunches I have had in a while. It was so nice I felt guilty about it. No kids, no chores, just adult conversation. It was the closest thing to a relaxing spa experience I have ever had. The food was awesome and the company, my bff Katie, was just what I needed. With a full tummy, I returned to my sweet girls and charming husband later that day fully refreshed and thankful for the little things.

Praise the Lord

Today is a new day. I am 28, a mother of two beautiful girls and feel loved by those around me. What more could I ask for? I am so blessed
